Threat-intel-backed investigation and domain takeover proceedings

Decades of experience spanning internationally recognized law firms, in-house legal teams, and elite cyber threat-intelligence teams.

I bring that experience together to investigate and disrupt malicious infrastructure, use legal process to pursue attribution, and where appropriate, make criminal referrals aimed at stopping threat actors from targeting or retargeting your organization.

Let’s explore together what makes practical sense for your organization.

How much does a UDRP cost?

There are two principal cost components: the dispute-resolution provider’s filing fee and the professional fee for preparing and handling the matter.

Jonathan’s typical professional fee is $4,000 per UDRP proceeding covering 1–10 disputed domain names, plus applicable provider fees. A one-time $2,500 evidentiary-preparation fee can apply when the client has not previously assembled the record needed to establish trademark rights and evidence of brand recognition or goodwill. Where usable evidence has already been assembled through prior enforcement work, trademark counsel, marketing, or other internal resources, that additional preparation fee may not apply. More than 10 disputed domains may involve an additional fee discussed before proceeding.

Those are typical rates, not an inflexible price schedule. If you believe a proposed fee is not competitive, raise the issue. Jonathan aims to offer commercially attractive pricing and is willing to discuss reasonable adjustments based on scope, volume, and comparable market pricing. Multiple proceedings, portfolios, or related matters may qualify for bundled pricing.

To discuss scope, bundled pricing, or whether the typical fee fits a particular matter, a prospective client can email [email protected] after providing only the limited information needed for an initial conflict check.

Provider fees vary by provider, number of domains, and panel size. WIPO’s current schedule lists $1,500 for a single-member panel involving 1–5 domains and $2,000 for 6–10 domains; larger cases and three-member panels have different fees.
